Hillary
Hillary is a little girl with 3 years old and she already has 13 surgeries, she spent 24 days hospitalized in APROQUEN after suffering a fatal burn accident. Doctors had to amputate all her toes due to the severity and depth of the injury. Today she is on her way to full rehabilitation.
One day, while playing with her cousins, she accidentally fell into the glowing embers of an artisanal oven. The girl was paralyzed without moving, raising cries for help until her mother found her and immediately removed her from the scene of the accident.
She arrived at our APROQUEN Burns Center with a 7% burned area on her feet and left hand.
Every 15 days APROQUEN gives her free physiotherapy sessions to improve scars, vacuum therapy and compression clothing.
