Endings for a good character:
Choosing the second option from the list will lead to the main character forcing Griffon to tell the other ghouls about his scheme. This will lead to the crowd attacking Griffon after his short speech. You won't get any negative karma if you don't attack the Griffon or other ghouls. I would recommend that you stay in the back and watch what happens next. The griffin will eventually be killed. Take his body if you want, and you'll find 200 bottle caps.
Selecting the last dialog option from the list will lead to the protagonist convincing the Griffon to capture his actions. Choosing the first option from the list will lead to the protagonist trying to force Griffon to give him a bribe in exchange for his silence. Don't forget to visit Griffon from time to time if you have agreed to become his business partner.

Step-by-step guide. I would recommend that you activate this side mission along with the other two subqueries so that you don't have to return too many items to Bigsley's Scribe. If you don't want to participate in other subqueries, go directly to Megaton. You can activate this quest by watching the scene near the main gate. A woman named Rosa will give a bottle of holy water to one of the beggars, and he will die immediately. Talk to her and you will find out that she received this holy water from one of the monks living at the monastery located in Springvale. Please note that she gave you a wambrocure.
If you don't want to talk to Rose, or if you haven't met her by chance, you should log into Megaton. Now you can proceed to your house and you would find the pamphlet stuck to the door or you can wait for an anonymous citizen from Megaton to approach you and to hand over this object.
